Little wins.

We often talk about mission, ministry, and meaning and those are big, beautiful things.
But behind them, day by day, it’s the small acts of service that keep everything standing.
Whether it’s a pound dropped into a donation pot or someone staying behind to sweep the floor after a retreat, these little wins add up.
They’re not flashy, but they’re real, they’re faithful and they matter.
A Little Window Story
Recently, a small team of volunteers helped recover and restore the chapel windows at The Briars. They weren’t contractors or builders, just people who cared.
The window coveres were old, discoloured and broken. They looked bad and keeping out light.
A few hours, a cuppa, (Thanks Jacob) a blister or two and boom.
The chapel feels different now, lighter, warmer…
No spotlight. No applause. Just a quiet, faithful “yes” to something that needed doing.
THIS IS WHATS ITS ALL ABOUT.
So if you’re ever wondering “what can I do?” remember: it doesn’t have to be big to be beautiful.
Every little win helps carry the mission forward. And maybe, just maybe, you’ll find God in the sweeping, the fixing, the doing just as surely as in the praying.
“Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
— Matthew 25:40
